Ever had a great dish at a restaurant and thought to yourself “how can it get any better than this?!”, only for the next dish you’ve ordered to totally blow your socks off?

Well that was day two on the Ha Giang Loop. After a great first day, you’re expecting more of the same (which would have still been amazing), but things have only just gotten started!

Without further ado:

This time, the sun didn’t wait around to reveal itself.
The same can’t be said about my brain functionality, I’m definitely not a morning guy.
But views like this…
…can make a morning person out of even the staunchest night-owl
After some precarious roads, and more incredible views, we made it to our first big stop of the day:
The town on the Chinese border (we were able to hit 120 on this awesome straight stretch in the picture!

After an hour or so of cruising, we made it to one of the loops most iconic spots

With that, we made our way through these gorgeous mountains to our homestay for the night
Last stretch

When we reached the homestay, it was soon time for dinner, happy water, and (drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁) Karaoke!! Again.

Who are the best kareoke’ers? The Irish (left)? Or the Vietnamese (right)? Place your vote in the comment section below!

After a ton of karaoke and happy water, letting everyone try on my kippah, and trying the local traditional pipe (I do NOT recommend!), it was time 1to get ready for the next day; which promised to, somehow, be even better than this one!

See you at day three!!
