It was the best day of my entire trip to South East Asia.
I really don’t have much more to say.
Enjoy!!

Once in the valley, we drove a short distance to a small stream, where we took bamboo rafts to a refreshing (if quite chilly) river cave for some swimming or, in the case of those with bandaged up knees… aka me; sunbathing sunburning on the rafts.

To cut to the chase; this was the most serene and tranquil stop of the entire loop! See for yourself

To make things even better, while we waited for the sun to set, our easy drivers pulled out their Da Cau’s. A toy not too different than a shuttlecock that you try keep up between everyone without using hands.

and:
Onto the night!!

Kevin was our group leader. Honestly, without him and the other easy drivers, the loop wouldn’t have been even half as enjoyable. Thanks Kevin!

A short story on what not to agree to if you’re drinking with me

The rest of the night included dancing in a thunderstorm, an ill fated bout of wrestling (I reopened an old motorcycle wound), more Kareoke (duh), and a phones policy. Ok, maybe I made up the last bit to hide the fact I don’t have a single picture from this point on but trust me, nights on the loop are where the real memories are made.

Eventually, at some time, I have no idea what time, it was time to get a few hours’ sleep before our last day. It promised to be yet another incredible ride!
